Clark Kent [Superman]; Barry Allen [Flash]; Theodore Knight [Starman]; Captain Harold "Hal" Jordan [Green Lantern]; Lex Luthor; Lois Lane; Thomas Edison; Nicola Tesla; Jonathon and Martha Kent; Thomas and Martha Wayne, and their young son Bruce (cameo); Oliver Queen [the Green Arrow]; an unnamed anarchist
In the late 1800s begins an age of discovery, commerce, and science. In the midst of all this is Clark Kent, who uses his powers publically as "the Superman". Through him, other heroes are created, and Kryptonian science is examined for the betterment of mankind. Clark loves Lois Lane, a reporter, and has a rivalry with Luthor. Not everyone benefits from this "Age of Wonder" however, including the disenfranchised workers of the factories. One such worker creates a large bomb that nearly destroys a building, but kills some innocent bystanders, including Bruce Wayne's parents. Then, Lex and Green Lantern conspire to get rid of Clark, who proves to be too idealistic for them.

Oliver Queen [the Green Arrow]; Diana, Princess of Themyscria; the Bat-Man [Bruce Wayne]; Plastic Man; Barry Allen [the Human Flash]; Theodore Knight [the Starman]; Raymond Palmer [the Atom]; Lex Luthor; Alfred, Bruce's butler; General Harold "Hal" Jordan [the Green Lantern]; Lois Lane; Nicola Tesla; Clark Kent [the Superman]
As World War 1 begins, the Bat-Man is on the trail of Luthor --now the Secretary of Defense--who has been selling advanced weaponry and secrets to the Germans in order to escalate the war. Luthor is also helping Diana of Themyscria, whose people have been defeated and enslaved by the Germans. Using Tesla's theories and Diana's science, Luthor creates a deathray that will defeat the Germans and land him the Presidency. General Jordan stumbles onto Luthor's madness just after the Germans use a nuclear bomb to destroy London. Luthor kills Jordan, who then orders his ring to bring back Clark Kent, the Superman. As the Germans fire on New York, Clark stops the rockets and Diana sacrifices herself to destroy Luthor's deathray. In the end, the war is won, but not without heavy casualities on both sides. Finally the League of Justice convinces the nations of the world to come together in peace, thus forming the Justice League of Nations.
