Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man again in this story; Story continued from Amazing Spider-Man, the (Marvel, 1963 series) #418.
As told by Glenn Greenberg in The Life of Reilly, Bob Harras, Ralph Macchio, Glenn Greenberg and Mark Bernardo contributed scenes and/or dialogue to the story, for which they received credits in various forms as above. Specifically, Mark Bernardo suggested the Halloween setting and the opening scene featuring Normie Osborn. "Bob Harras was heavily involved in developing the plot. The jeopardy at the Daily Bugle involving the supporting cast came from him, as did the tone of the interactions between Norman and Peter-right down to some of their dialogue."
