Lone Goat; Gorogoro
Lone Goat lies near death with an arrow wound in his back, while young Gorogoro saves a near lifeless Jotaro from drowning. A local gang boss, after the reward for the Lone Goat, sends his men to slay them all, leaving it up to the two children to stand alone against the gang of killers. Meanwhile, Usagi is desperately scouring the riverbanks for any signs of his son when he meets up with troubles of his own.

With his public image threatened and his intent with the girl contested, Ikyu challenges Katsuichi to a duel, only to have Katsuichi say no. Facing public disgrace and shouldering his new reputation as a coward, Katsuichi eventually earns the title of "The Master."

When the ronin Usagi and his young charge, Jotaro, travel to a remote village, they are met with a cold and uncomfortable reception. Soon, it becomes clear that things are worse than they first seemed, when the pair discovers that the entire village has been slain and replaced by Neko Ninja who are plotting to assassinate the Geishu Lord, Noriyuki. Not even Usagi, aided by Jotaro and the capable and beautiful swordswoman Tomoe Ame, can stop the trap from being sprung.

The Pride of the Samurai
