B.O. Plenty opens a hot dog stand near the National Ski Meet. Inga Yelma is killed with a bow and arrow while ski jumping, which brings Tracy into the picture. It turns out that Yelma was originally part of a vaudeville acrobatic act called the Kitten Sisters, but left when the other three went into professional shoplifting. Tracy finds the murder weapon but is captured by the Kitten Sisters. They beat him and eventually set him afloat on an ice flow, handcuffed and tied to heavy weights. Tracy is rescued, but by the time he finds the girls' hideout, the Kitten Sisters are on the run.
