Crewy Lou abandons Bonnie Braids in a car in the forest. She takes refuge in a forest lookout tower but is found by Tracy in a helicopter. She dies in a fall from the tower and Tracy and crew go on a frantic search for the baby. The baby is found in the home of a mountain couple deep in the woods, leading to a media blitz. Later Tracy is accused of stealing $500,000 from the police custodian's vault.
