Synopsis: Wonder Man and Beast travel to Los Angeles as Simon tries to make amends for past misdeeds. Afterwards at a Hollywood Gala, the two run into Bob O'Bryan and Diane Cummings. While all this is happening, Lotus possesses O'Bryan and causes the Colossus to explode out of a parked semi-trailer truck outside.

The Beast talks about "Star Lords". That was the series Bob O'Bryan had worked on when he first took control of the Colossus back in Astonishing Tales #21 (1973).
