It is the year 1773...
Jack Morgan dies a patriot, refusing to name his co-conspirators. Tomahawk and Dan come to pay their respects to his memory, and assume his job of distributing pamphlets printed and written by Tom Paine. Later, to obscure the noise of the printing press, Tomahawk has some of the men dress like native Americans and dance round a fire in the public square. Ben Franklin commends Tomahawk for his ruse and thinks he may use it again on the following day in attending the Boston Tea Party.

A mysterious full page ad appears in every New York newspaper one morning, inviting entries to claim the "World's Strongest Man" title and prize of $20,000. There are dozens of entries, but Rip refuses to compete. when it comes to performing, a number of the contestants appear to be scared. This feeling only can on after talking to Willis, the contest sponsor. When Rip confronts him Willis tries to psychologically induce fear of death in him, but Rip grabs and shakes the truth from him. Once Willis had been a leading movie stuntman, until he saw a fellow stuntman die.

What's your guess about the sinister results...
The arch criminal Bull's-Eye blows up the Arrowcar, and Green Arrow and Speedy are hospitalized for several days. Upon release they accept a challenge issued by Walter J. Teak, who will donate $10,000 to charity if any bowman can hit three consecutive bull's eyes at his range using arrows supplied. Amazing they miss every shot, and when their own arrows are returned they miss with those also. But they eventually overcome the trick pulled by Bull's-Eye and bring him to justice.
