Using the swamp as a base of operations the Swamp Rats are a plague upon the area. Sending the Jungle Patrol in get the Rats two captives. The Phantom steps in as the JP's Commander and prevents a large offensive. Attempting to stop the Rats the Phantom is caught himself and left for dead. Phantom
The Phantom; Doctor Lamb; Kit Walker; Guran
According to jungle legend, the Phantom is a man who cannot die!
The Phantom 'borrows' Dr. Lamb to birth his son (Kit), who grows up in the jungle learning the 'tricks of the trade' to being the Phantom. Eventually Kit is old enough to send abroad, and with Guran leaves the jungle for America, pennyless. Remembering the need for money outside the jungle the Phantom sends a sack of jewels that arrives just in time. Arriving in New York they are amazed at the marvels of civilization. With Guran embarrassed in his native attire Kit swaps clothes with him on the plane to Watertown to meet with his Aunt and Uncle.
