Synopsis: The Shadow stalks its first victim, Renee, and we see the results when it catches her. We're introduced to Warren Gale and the monotony of his life. The Shadow visits him in his sleep and shares with him its dealings with Renee. The next day Shen appears on the scene tracking the Shadow to Warren.
