Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman approach Wildcat, Green Lantern, and The Flash to request that they reactivate the Justice Society of America as a group to train heroes. The trio of JSAers consider who to include in the revived JSA and Damage, in a new costume, Cyclone, and a mysterious Starman are recruited. Green Lantern and The Flash also introduce Wildcat to a relative. Meanwhile, Mr. America trails a killer and ends up making a shocking entrance at JSA headquarters.

The original final page, which consisted of previews of upcoming storylines, removed for this reprint. Page 9 references the covers of All Star Comics #3, All-Star Comics #58, and JSA #1. Maxine Hunkel's line "It's time to try...defying gravity" is a reference to a lyric from the musical Wicked. Starman's dialogue references the two series Legion of Super-Heroes and 52.
