According to the Red Circle News in The Mighty Crusaders (Archie, 1983 series) #1, this issue was supposed to feature the Trial of the Shield story that was later featured in The Mighty Crusaders (Archie, 1983 series) #9. Snyder credit per Gary Usher's Robin Snyder Comic Book List; in the issue, he is not credited on story sequences, but is credited as assistant editor on the letters page.
