Today on the Current Edition, we investigate the miracle in Central Park.
Doctors perform medical tests on Michael and tell him that the cancer has moved to his entire body and he doesn't have much longer to live. The Catholic church begins to monitor a young man who raised a boy from the dead in Central Park. They also put a hit out on Michael for killing a priest during a recent mission. Gaby and the police move in on a serial killer who has been targeting young boys. Three professional assassins try to take Michael out in a bar but he gets the best of them and gets to go home with the stripper.

There are a million ways to die in New York City.
After spending a little "quality" time with the stripper, Sugar, Deathblow is attacked by killer priests who only succeed in shooting his "date." Trickle slaughters an orphanage full of kids trying to kill the chosen child but Sister Mary has already escaped with Christopher. Michael has a Latin book translated that talks of the Brotherhood of the Cross and the healing power of the Holy Grail. Gabrielle visits Mike and talks to him about his terminal cancer. The Black Angel attacks and takes the symbols that will resurrect the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

It seems like this rain has been pouring down forever.
Michael heads to Philadelphia looking for the mysterious Order of the Cross. Unfortunately, the church thinks that Deathblow is the killer gunning for their promised child so Sister Mary attacks him when he arrives. Once things get straightened out, Deathblow has to rescue Mary and Christopher from the real killer, Trickle. Michael witnesses Christopher raise a boy from the dead.

Arlington, Virginia. In the spring of 1864.
Deathblow takes Sister Mary and Christopher to the headquarters of the Order of the Cross at Montcairn Abbey. After Michael makes his confession, he is allowed a sip from the Holy Grail to cure him of his cancer. Gaby discovers that Trickle has murdered Michael's doctor and battles him. Even though it is revealed that Mike's ex-wife is, quite literally, an angel, Trickle is still able to capture her.

The Black Angel and his forces attack Montcairn Abbey and, despite the best efforts of Deathblow and Sister Mary, succeed in capturing Christopher. Michael discovers that Father O'Conner let him drink from a fake Holy Grail because he did not make a full confession of his sins. Mike fesses up and is allowed to drink from the true Grail to be healed of his cancer. Michael and Mary then prepare to go after the boy.
