Great... just great!
The Hulk comes to Los Angeles and, after thinking he's being attacked by spotlights, crashes a Hollywood event honoring actor Grant Marshall. Bob O'Bryan (who had just wed his girlfriend Diane Cummings) transfers his mind into the Living Colossus to try to stop the Hulk. While this is happening, Dr. Vault is able to force his mind into the statue forcing out Bob and tries to kill the Hulk. The Hulk ultimately smashes the Colossus into dust. Dr. Vault collapses and dies because his nerve disease had accelerated while his mind was out of his body. Bob and Diane watch the Hulk leave the city.

Hulk's next appearances are in Hulk! #19, Defenders #75-91, Marvel Two-In-One Annual #5, and She-Hulk #1.

The living Colossus was last seen in the final issue of his short lived feature in Astonishing Tales #24 (June 1974). Bob O'Bryan would build a new Colossus (this time made out of steel) in Wonder Man Annual #2 (1993). While the Colossus does have a brief cameo in Ka-Zar the Savage #34 (1984), it's an out of continuity humor appearance.

Bob O'Bryan was previously a cripple but was able to use the power of his mind (strengthened by controlling a giant statue) to heal his injury.

Actor Grant Marshall gets mad at the Hulk because the Hulk's show was beating his show in the ratings. This refers to the Incredible Hulk TV show which was in its third season at this point.
