In part 1 of this story, Martin Markham's hair was black; in part 2, it was blond; and here, in part 3, it is brown. At the end of the story, the entire world had forgotten the events of the past few days -- except for Wonder Woman, who is still upset that the public could so quickly turn against her.

Edward I. Koch was the mayor of New York City from 1978 thru 1989. He is not actually named in the story, but the creators' intent was clearly to depict him. As rendered here, he looks like Mayor Koch, but with a little Lex Luthor thrown in. The unique contours to his face are more "rounded" inviting the comparison to Luthor.
