Dad hired Charles Lambert and his fiancee, Janis Lawson...
Randall Crowley, who controls the Beast-men, also controls a giant electronic octopus and he has it appear to "eat" Janis and Tara. Randall plans to kill the various exotic animals on the Dark Continent to sell their pelts. Fortunately the Shade is looking for Tara and enters Randall's subconscious. Randall goes mad thinking that the animals he has killed are going to drown him in their blood, and he falls over a cliff and is impaled on one of the skinning hooks.
