Guy punches Brad but he recovers and will marry Amy now.

Synopsis: Orphan Christine is adopted by the mean Mrs. Hilliard, who treats her like a servant. Christine falls in love with Frank and they plan to wed, but he wants to get a promotion at work first. Mrs. Hilliard intends to blackmail Christine into staying. When Christine learns the road Mrs. Hilliard will be taking is washed out, she debates letting her tormentor drive to her death but risks her own life to warn her instead. Mrs. Hilliard repents and Christine is reunited with Frank.
