Synopsis: Roger proposes to Sandra but she later sees him with “cheap little runaround” Patsy and breaks their engagement. Sandra falls in love with Stephen, a doctor at the Merrydale Home for unwed mothers, even though she despises the girls who go there. Sandra resents Stephen’s attention to Lola, who entered the home with her infant and became his assistant. Sandra “outs” Lola to her date, Harvey. Stephen says Lola is a widow, not an unwed mother. Sandra apologizes to Lola and reconciles with Stephen.
