The threat of the giant moths is almost forgotten now as, in the great stadium that once rang with 60,000 voices, a far smaller crowd watches perhaps the greatest battle of them all...
As Samson and Weyum duke it out in "a Joe Louis" match, the moths attack. Mindor jury-rigs ancient batteries to turn on the lights of Yankee Stadium and draw the moths to where they can be killed. Between the lights and the fight Samson is temporarily blinded, but together the N'Yarkers defeat the giant moths.
