The entire sequence resembles preview pages rather than story pages. The first two pages are in full color. The remainder of the story is in black and white with tight drawings and inks.

Intended for Valeria, the She-Bat (Continuity, 1993 Series) #3, the issue, as well as issue #2 where the storyline was intended to begin in, were never published. This is the only known printing of the artwork intended for issue #3. Was originally scheduled for a late-July 1993 release.

Per the introduction, Neal Adams was to be the primary writer and artist with Todd McFarlane illustrating "as much of the story's Spawn segments as time allows."
