The Ringo Kid and Dull Knife save Henshaw from bandits and promise to deliver him to Fort Bristol, believing him to be a fellow outlaw. Although Henshaw proves to be a military colonel, he is so impressed by Ringo's generosity that he lets him go free.

The Ringo Kid's father is captured by Saterlee, who demands Ringo steal a wagon of ammunition from the military in exchange. When Ringo arrives with the wagon he has Dull Knife roll it down the hill towards Saterlee's shack, causing all of his men to scatter -- but there was no ammo inside. The trick works and Ringo frees his father.
