First Line: Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen, an appropriately named...
Synopsis: Lady Death comes upon Bedlam having a bar fight with a bunch of Sidewinders who have been selling deadly narcotics in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, New York. The battle begins with Lady Death and Bedlam against each other, but after Bedlam is slain and reborn from the energy of the brood of The Collective, a villain who grows from his corpse, attacks Lady Death, and gives Bedlam the opportunity to save her and kill The Collective. In the aftermath of the fight, Bedlam incredulously asks if Lady Death is sure she doesn't remember him, and she says she doesn't remember much since she became mortal.
