Perhaps it isn't the most orthodox way to go calling on one's aunt -- but you've got to admit: it's effective!
Peter visits Aunt May at her new home in Westchester, which is being guarded by gunmen of Doctor Octopus. He was asked to deliver an urgent telegram by Mrs. Watson. He is concerned as to the importance of Aunt May to Doc Octopus after he overhears a conversation by the guards. Peter excuses himself, heads back to his apartment to read the telegram, but runs into Harry and his father Norman. Harry appears sick and is whisked away by his father. Peter decides to head to Montreal, using the paper's resources to find out about the mysterious Mr. Rimbaud and gets involved in a fight with The Hulk.

There are quite a few things we could say about this issue -- but we won't.
Harry is raving and bedridden after once again taking LSD and when his father finds his son's friends gathering around in support, he throws them out. Cracking under the pressure of his damaged son and failing business, Norman regains his memory of being the Green Goblin and the secret identity of his deadliest foe. Trying to get to Spider-Man where it hurts, the Goblin captures Gwen and brings her to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge. During the fight, Gwen falls from the bridge and when Spider-Man tries to catch her with a web line, her neck snaps.

The Spider-Man story in this issue was originally intended for the Amazing Spider-Man series at a time when John Romita (the usual artist for Spider-Man) injured his wrist and Ross Andru stepped in to create this fill-in story. However, John recovered in time and was able to draw the previously planned story so Ross' story was published here (info from the Marvel Super-Heroes wiki).
