Rawhide goes to rescue her, but ultimately the jealous Angelique proves the gang's undoing when she gives away their location to the Mounties. The Mounties raid the camp and Dijon falls from a cliff while struggling with Rawhide.

Although the son doesn't use firearms he beats Rick in hand-to-hand and Rick's gun misfires, killing Rick - he was the last notch on his own gun.
