Synopsis:
Jed Forsythe is a hunter/adventurer who has retired his services after the death of one of his faithful servants, caused by one of his former clients. Mr. Fullton speaks with Briggs, however, Forsythe's friend and long-time hunting companion, about hiring Forsythe. Initially he declines, but changes his mind when a substantial sum of money is offered. Forsythe also looks after Malomba, a beautiful young half-caste who is devoted to him. Malomba is "part Indian, part African, with a dash of European", and becomes jealous when she sees Forsythe teaching Mrs. Fullton how to handle a rifle.

Notes:
José Ramón Larraz (1929-2013) was born in Barcelona, Spain, and during the course of his life he embarked on two careers, the first being a writer/illustrator of comic strips. He later left that field to become a film director of erotic horror films, shot in Great Britain and Spain. In the late Fifties he was employed by Opera Mundi, a French press agency that sold strips to newspapers and magazines. The dailies contained in this one-shot are copyrighted Opera Mundi, and Larraz's signature can be seen in a number of them. These are likely "Jed Foran" strips, the name changed to "Jed Forsythe" for publication in Australia.
