Katy has a fancy date with Doctor Kildear, but can't decide what gown to wear. K. O. gets rid of the doctor by sending him to the hospital on a fake emergency call and then takes Katy and Sis out to a diner.

Sis is reading an Archie comic book on page 3 and plugs Archie, Pep, Wilbur, and Laugh Comics. Sis uses the "pickle in the middle and the mustard on top" catch phrase from Mr. Kitzel, a character on the Jack Benny radio program.
The splash panel has a large logo and Katy in a red gown with an all-black background and looks much like a Spirit splash panel, particularly the January 19, 1947 edition.
