The Atom Wizard
The Atom Wizard [Drew Lane] (introduction, origin); Professor Winthrop Lane (Drew's father, death); Devens (villain, Lane's assistant, death); Mike (villain, death); The Boss (villain, former Nazi sub crew member, death); Myrna (villain, death)
Professor Winthrop Lane creates to his astonishment a new element...
Professor Lane invents a process which concentrates atoms packed together so tightly that they would be the size of a pea, and if dropped accidently, could cause terrible destruction. Lane reveals the secret of this process to his son, and sprays both of them with a solution thast protects them from the neutrons produced. When crooks approach to steal the process, the Professor gives them a fatal demonstration of it: the crooks and the Professor blown to bits. But Drew survives, and when other members of the gang try to force Drew to reveal how to create an atomic bomb, he shows them!
