As mentioned in the story, this is a sequel to another text story detailing Minnie and Oscar's first date, entitled "Big Date". The earliest indexed instance of that first story is in Chic Young's Dagwood Comics (Harvey, 1950 series) #134, although since that issue was published well after the first indexed instance of the sequel story, there must be an earlier instance of "Big Date" that has not yet been indexed.

Uncle Branes
Uncle Branes fits Dot with little motors on her arms that make her have super strength. She tells everybody that it's because she believes in the power of dots. When all her friends start believing in dots too, they also have great achievements. Dot soon learns that her uncle never gave her batteries for her muscle motors, so she realizes that her super strength also came from her belief in dots.
