Synopsis: An injured Aquaman is found by Mera. Mera recounts how she was kidnapped by exiled Atlanteans working for the crime syndicate as part of a plan to capture a shipment of gold. She escaped from her captors when her cell opened unexpectedly due to the actions of Aquaman when he fought the crime syndicate, and Mera rescues Aquaman when he was caught in an explosion. Meanwhile, back in Atlantis, Tula finds a group of rebels who want to overthrow Narkran.
