First Line: But what is that diving from the sky?
Synopsis: Spearbirds attack the N'Yark people. Samson defends. But the birds are sent by blue men with rainbow-colored wings, the Wingmen from the North, come to take over N'Yark and drive humans out. Yet young Hawkaar spots Sharmaine and saves her. Samson drives him off. Sharmaine is thrilled, "You're jealous!" King Zorr sends spearbirds to kill the champion Samson.

First Line: I'll never make it across the clearing - but wait!
Synopsis: King Zorr attacks N'Yark, his spearbirds dropping rocks and threatening impalement. Samson battles from below, but there's no way to reach the birdmen's lair atop the Chrysler Building. Hawkaar deserts King Zorr to woo Sharmaine, who's delighted. King Zorr smacks Hawkaar and kidnaps Sharmaine. Samson lures a Long-Neck Beast to eat spearbirds. Free, he scales the building. Hawkaar tries to rescue Sharmaine but is speared. Samson grapples Zorr and pitches him off the tower. Sharmaine weeps for Hawkaar.
