The Phantom Stranger finds young Robbie and his buddies in a spooky cave, all scared of a curse. He tells them a scary story about curses and then leaves. Soon after, Doctor Thirteen and his wife Marie arrive to investigate a supposed town curse. They assure the kids there's no such thing as a curse and go on to tell them another story. After, the Phantom Stranger returns and he and Doctor Thirten decide to work together to figure out what's really behind the town curse.
