Veronica challenges Betty to a game of tennis. Betty is unsure because of Veronica's poor sportmanship, but Veronica vows not to be a sore loser. Plus she's been taking lessons.

Synopsis:
Veronica and her family arrive from Hawaii and are greeted by the gang. Veronica shows the gang her Hula girl outfit and starts to dance. She has an extra one for Betty and they both start to hula. But Veronica speeds up the tempo and Betty hurts herself. Since Betty can't go to the dance that night injured, Archie has to take Veronica instead.
