Marko the Manhunter; Lewt Kane; Frank Kane; Boar Benson; April
Marko captures the Kane brothers then begins hunting the Rawhide Kid. Rawhide is working on a railroad, fending off Boar's tough guy routine and receiving the attentions of April, but Marko drives the Kid away. The Kid runs into traps Marko set for him, including a giant mirror and snare. A blow to the head takes away the Kid's memory as he escapes Marko but another blow from Nightwind restores the Kid's faculties in time for him to wound Marko in the arm, forcing him to abandon his hunt for the Kid.

Interior credits list Larry Lieber as sole artist, but inking credits occasionally were inaccurate due to the production process. The story was pencilled, lettered and then inked, meaning the letterer would add whatever credit the writer or editor noted. When deadlines loomed and inkers were substituted, inaccurate credits appeared in print.
