Saltarella thinks the art is by Nick Cardy with, possibly, Chuck Winter inks.

Final appearance in National Comics and in a Quality publication. The next publishers to have features based on the Paul Bunyan from folklore will be Charlton (in Cowboy Western Comics (Charlton, 1948 Series)) and David McKay (in Blondie Comics (David McKay, 1947 Series)), both in 1948. (In 1945 Prize will have a feature named "Paul Bunyan" in Treasure Comics (Prize, 1945 Series), but that is a super-hero who calls himself Paul Bunyan.)
