Fifty Fathoms down inthe murky depths of Bengali Bay lies an ancient hulk, the rotting remains of a once-powerful pirate ship.
Friends of the Phantom discover pirate gold at the same time Zeeks and his friends do. Using superstition Zeeks pretends to be Cutlass the pirate to scare the native salvagers off. The Phantom prevents this, and Zeeks recruits the witchdoctors' help.

Trapped in the fearsome maze of India, the Phantom had but one weapon to battle the deadly tiger who was tracking him...
Prince Taran trains a tiger to kill the Phantom. Hearing about it before the prince can act the Phantom heads to India to prevent the man-eater from being released in his jungle. Through trickery the prince gets the Phantom into the Mountain Maze with the killer tiger.
