Blaming his master's seemingly endless card game for his not being fed, Felix comes to hate cards. His anger grows to where he leaves the Earth on his magic carpet to get away from playing cards for good. As his luck would have it, he lands on a world populated by beings who exist in the form of kings, queens, and jacks of all four suits. For his dislike of cards, he is sentenced to be beaten with a club by the Jack of Clubs.

A reworking of many of the elements of the lead story in Felix the Cat (Dell, 1948 Series) #1 (February-March 1948) titled "Misdeal", which was likely redrawn from an earlier continuity in Otto Messmer's original Felix newspaper strips. Different endings in each version.
