Synopsis:
Orphaned Jane becomes nanny for Adele, child of the brooding Mr. Rochester. Despite many clashes, Jane and Rochester become romantically involved. She demands fuller truth from him, and after a home invasion learns that Rochester's wife, hit by a bullet meant for him, has spent years in a coma. Rochester relocates for safety, begging Jane to come too, but she refuses. When Adele begs Jane to join them she rushes to the new location, now under attack by Rochester's disturbed brother-in-law. Jane tries in vain to rescue Mrs. Rochester. She is later reunited with Adele and Rochester.
