A comics adaptation of the Gospel According to Matthew 1:1-2:13.

The style of the adaptation is somewhat different than Brown's adaptation of Mark. The shift is most noticeable in the visual treatment of the characters, which is grittier and places far more emphasis on idiosyncrasies of personality and appearance.

This issue's installment is 11 and 2/3 pages. The first third of the opening page features the final two panels of the "Ed the Happy Clown" episode.
