Mr. Nicholas solicits gifts from the residents of Mother Goose Town so that the Old Woman Who Lives in A Shoe's children can have a merry Christmas.

Chip-chop the chipmunk gathers trinkets in Santa's workshop for Mr. Crow to distribute to the forest animals. Chip-chop takes the key to the harness chest for Santa's reindeer by mistake and has to retrieve it after Mr. Crow gives it to the raccoon child.
