Notes:
The story title "Perfect" refers to Wonder Woman's golden lasso, also called the Golden Perfect. In this issue the Gods return Diana's lasso to her. She had left it in Ares' realm in issue #23 to bind Deimos and Phobos.
The Tunisian old mother and child had previously appeared to Barbara Ann Minerva in Wonder Woman #8, where it appeared that they were connected to the Gods, possibly Athena. In this issue, their reflections in the water appear to reveal the mother as Athena and the child as an owl. Other patron Gods also appear in their animal forms.
The Shaggy Man had last appeared in Aquaman (2016 series) #9 where Aquaman stopped him by teleporting him into orbit. It is mentioned in this issue that something must have disrupted his orbit and sent him back to Earth.
When Steve Trevor contacts Wonder Woman via a secured Justice League Communications Channel, his access code is "Whiskey Mike Mike One-Nine-Four-Two". The abbreviation would be WMM 1942, where WMM stands for William Moulton Marston (Wonder Woman's creator) and 1942 is the cover date of Wonder Woman's debut in Sensation Comics #1 (January 1942).
