Fran begins to resent the lonely, hard work of being a farmer's wife. At first, Bret and Fran fight about it, but then they apologize to each other. Bret acknowledges that he has neglected Fran and promises that things will be different.

Synopsis: Nancy Sloane marries Kent Adams, a middle-aged widower who has two grandchildren. Kent's daughter, Virginia, accuses Nancy of marrying her father for his money. But it turns out that Kent's business is on the skids and he has to confess to Nancy that he is broke. However, soon Nancy learns that a rich uncle has died and she is the sole heir. Nancy uses her new wealth to save Kent's business. Virginia apologizes to Nancy since it is now clear that Nancy did not marry Kent just for his money.
