Mr. Rich is pleased that the mansion has experience a dry spell regarding criminal activity, but he apparently underestimated after Richie and Cadbury discover three criminals in different places on the Rich Estate. Richie suspects they may be part of a gang who are plotting something big. After the police are called, they find the crooks - armed with guns - have built a hotel inside a cave on the estate.

The mob surrenders, and Mr. Rich is quite pleased to be crook-free again. But soon afterwards, Richie suspects that crooks may be hiding inside the mansion - inside seldom-used rooms. Richie discovers a mob of crooks have constructed a bowling alley in one of the rarely-used rooms, and a dance hall in another room where the mob is holding a dance. Richie, Cadbury and a "guest" attend, and the mob are arrested after one of its members dances with a undercover police officer dressed in drag. Unfortunately, in the end, one crook fell asleep in a vault, wondering where the dance takes place.

Lotta wins a live turkey in a raffle held at the supermarket. But the live turkey flew away and Lotta and Pa Plump chase after it - and they end up in danger of getting killed in the process. Luckily, the turkey helped save the day.
