Not quite the way it happened, Hornhead, 'casue the dead man in question just happens to be the Torpedo...
While the new Torpedo tries to carry out his mission of making sure that the deadly costume he wears doesn't fall into evil hands, Daredevil simply tries to take him out, thinking he is a villain. When their battle wrecks a quiet suburban home, Daredevil and Torpedo are both horrified by their actions and cease hostilities.
