Heinrich Gootsden (of Earth-Two, villain); Admiral Higby (of Earth-Two); Rotwang (of Earth-Two, villain, flashback)
The missing JSA'ers return to Earth-Two from hyperspace and loose ends from Crisis are tied up. Mekanique explains her mission to the All-Stars, who aid her, not knowing that it would change the future she came from to the benefit of the villain who created her. Robotman realizes the truth, but before he can act reality shifts and the post-Crisis universe replaces the Earth-Two universe. With history revised by the change, Robotman's knowledge is lost along with the world's memories of the existences of Batman, Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

G-2423
Wraps up the "Shanghaied into Hyperspace" story started in #50 (based on All-Star Comics (DC, 1940 series) # 13. Includes pin-up pages of the All-Star Squadron as part of the story, one is after Mekanique's changes take place (page 22, without Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman, but with Human Bomb, The Jester, Phantom Lady, Black Condor, Uncle Sam, The Ray, and Plastic Man in their place in center), and one is BEFORE her changes take place (page 16, with Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman in center). Also of note, Green Arrow (Earth-2) and Speedy (Earth-2) were erroneously in both portraits before the edict was made that they also were no longer part of pre-Crisis continuity, as stated by Roy Thomas in a later issue of All-Star Squadron, since they also had doppelgangers (Silver and Golden Age versions pre-Crisis). Last true Squadron story before Young All-Stars (DC, 1987 series) #1 and post-Crisis continuity. Issue #'s 61-67 origin stories (as fillers).

Includes letters from Jeffrey Albrittoon, Robert T. Jeschonek, Dale J. Roberts, Randy Freeman, and Jonathan Gilbert reviewing All-Star Squadron (DC, 1981 series) #55, as well as an announcement that due to the Crisis on Infinite Earths ending, this issue will be the last to feature an ongoing storyline for All-Star Squadron in continuity. The series will continue with origins of many All-Stars which would not make it into the the Secret Origins (DC, 1986 series) series for a couple of years.
