Synopsis:
Robin and his Merry Men, acting on King Richard's request, try to defend England from Vikings. But attacking a ship on the water proves a disaster. The Merry Men retreat as Robin is captured. Challenging the Viking chief to a duel, Robin escapes overboard. Robin asks Prince John for help, but the evil usurper refuses. The band prepares, then lures the Vikings upriver, blocks their ships with a giant chain, and defeats them on land. The Vikings surrender. But Robin worries about England's future under Prince John...
Synopsis:
Prince John binds the gates of Huntingdon with a huge Gordian knot that no one can untie. The people are trapped within as crops wither. Robin Hood approaches, but is captured. The Prince offers a deal: untie the knot or forfeit your life. Robin tries to unfasten the knot but fails. Robin is to be drowned in a ducking chair, but swims away. A boy says Robin can cut to the heart of any problem. Disguising as a guard, drawing a bow, Robin fires many arrows into the knot, weakening it, then rips it away. The town is free!
Synopsis:
Maid Marian visits a castle where a prisoner in an iron mask pleads for help. It's King Richard, imprisoned by Prince John. The king convinces Marian as he recalls hunting boar with her. Marian goes to Sherwood, and Robin and his Merry Men rush to the rescue. But they're ambushed and captured! Prince John set a trap: the prisoner is his own hireling. Robin went ahead and was murdered. The Merry Men leave in disgrace. The Man in the Iron Mask appears - and is actually Robin Hood, who robs Prince John and swings away laughing.
