This is the first story featuring Heraclio and Carmen as married adults. Like with the previous issue's story, taking place several years after the events in issue four where Carmen was a child and Heraclio a teenager. The Tonantzin/Tonansin character is not to be confused with Tonansin Carolongas who made a brief appearance in issue four. Though she is drawn differently from her later appearances.
