Let's go, Sam!
Davy and Sam are on their way to visit the old friends, the Piegan tribe. As they arrive, a white trader is trying to cheat the tribe out of its trading furs. Davy and Sam give them a good lesson and send them packing, then offer to take the furs to an honest trader in St. Joe and get them a decent return.

The Cheyenne have been roused!
Kit and Silent Deer observe an attack on a wagon train, and are surprised to see how many braves have long rifles. They subsequently sneak into the Cheyenne camp under cover of darkness, pour hot tar into the gun barrels and throw them into the river. Fremont assigns Kit the task of uncovering the gun runners.
