First Line: The looters froze...

Synopsis: Ringo's Indian friend Dull Knife is shot while preventing a stage robbery. The town doctor is happy to help, but small-minded citizens want him to stop treating non-whites, so he quits his practise and leaves town. But upon learning that the two worst offenders, Wyatt and Spanner, have contracted the red plague, Doc returns. When it is discovered that the medicine needed has been stolen from the stage, the pair confess to the robbery, naming Sam Yates as their partner. They find the medicine in Yates' shack and the plague is averted. A new spirit of racial tolerance is evident.

Synopsis: For the past three years Clay Borden has brought law and order to Butte County, but decides to retire and go into hog farming with his younger brother Fred. When outlaw Nitch Crawford and his gang take over the town, Mayor Kent begs Clay to return. He refuses until Crawford steals some of his hogs and shoots Fred. He returns to town and forces a showdown with the gang, during which Crawford is accidentally killed by one of his own men.

Synopsis: A scout brings word to the fort that the Cherokee are wearing war paint and dancing up a storm. While the colonel orders his troops to attack the tribe, Sagamore (later known as Daniel Boone) does not believe it and rides out. He observes the dancing and returns to explain that this is not a war dance. The colonel sees the sincerity in his eyes and rides into camp with him. There, the chief welcomes them, explaining that the dance is to celebrate the arrival of the white soldiers.

Synopsis: Joe Mungo is wanted for robbery and murder throughout a wide area. When word arrives that he is headed for Fargo Falls, the sheriff and his deputies begin arrangements to combat him. The whole town is in a lather, wondering why Mungo is coming. The worst is anticipated, but when the time comes Mungo is waving a white flag and surrenders, explaining that he is tired of continually being hunted like a wild animal.
