Frank Frazetta originally drew this cover depicting Buck Rogers fighting apemen for "Famous Funnies", but the publisher rejected the cover for being too violent. Frazetta would retouch the cover (it was no longer Buck Rogers) and sell it to EC Comics to be used for this issue.

A boy stowaway on a rocket to space is taken in by the crew and helps them in their research on other worlds. When they begin dying off due to viruses, he (now an adult) flies the rocket back to Earth, only to discover it is now an uninhabited dead world.

When Earth's scientists discover that radiation is making the human race sterile, plans are made to colonize Mars. But it turns out man can't procreate on Mars. Martian procreation is done through binary fission like amoebas. Realizing that humanity is doomed, everyone returns to Earth except for one man. He decides to stay behind and miraculously goes through binary fission, splitting into two!
