When the newspaper strips had been used up as reprints in the comic book, the new stories were done by ghost artists, and this must be John Hampton. In Jerry Bails' Who's Who he is credited to Red Ryder in 1947-49, and the artwork is similar to his signed work at The Kiyotee Kids in #40.

Bill Ely is credited to The Kiyotee Kids by Jerry Bails' Who's Who, and by comparing work by him elsewhere, this is him. Notice his extended use of wrinkle lines in clothing, and also on scenery and faces.
