First Line:
With the crowd, the Kiyotee Kids watch the shaven outlaws ride out of Alkali Town.
Synopsis:
Sandy deduces the shorn outlaws' next move, and sets the Kiyotees to thwart them. Ted tails the ones afoot. Billy trails the ones riding. Ted assigns Sandy comms. Silk and his riders successfully raid Broken Bow despite Billy's warning deputy Wade. Ted encounters Pepe, whose flock has been stolen by the outlaws afoot. Ted gives Pepe his horse, clothes, and a note to be delivered to Sandy, in exchange for Pepe's clothes. He goes undercover among the outlaws, as Pepe.

SANDY: "Yes! They're a long way from licked. They need hats and horses and guns and grub. And they aren't the kind to go SHOPPING for them."
TED: "Uh-hun. I hadn't thought of it that way. But you're right, Sandy. We'll saddle up our horses and ride out of town separately--meeting up at Signal Knob."
BILLY: "That's good! We can see for ten miles around from there."
SANDY: "I'll go first."
